**Job Title:** AI and Optimisation Engineer (Metaheuristic) **Role Summary:** Develop and test algorithms for HPC and real‑time imaging solutions using AI/ML and metaheuristic optimization techniques. Design, implement, and benchmark code in Python, C++ or C# and integrate with cloud‑based data pipelines for large‑scale testing. **Expectations:** - Deliver performant, well‑structured code for complex optimization problems. - Provide evidence of algorithmic improvements and publish results where applicable. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate imaging requirements into algorithmic solutions. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of AI/ML advances and their application to optimization. **Key Responsibilities:** - Engineer and optimize metaheuristic algorithms for imaging workloads. - Write high‑quality, maintainable code in Python, C++ or C#. - Design, execute, and analyze tests using large‑scale data pipelines on cloud platforms. - Integrate AI/ML techniques into existing HPC workflows. - Document design decisions, performance metrics, and future improvement paths. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Python, C++ or C#. - Experience implementing metaheuristic optimization algorithms. - Solid background in AI/ML techniques and their application to performance‑critical problems. - Familiarity with cloud‑based data pipelines and large‑scale data processing. - Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or related field; Master’s or PhD preferred. - Relevant certifications (e.g., GPU programming, cloud computing) are advantageous but not mandatory.
