**Role Summary**
Spearhead AKT’s product function, translating business strategy into a clear, actionable product roadmap. Lead the current product team and future hires, align product initiatives with brand identity, sustainability goals, and global market opportunities, and ensure seamless collaboration across marketing, operations, finance, supply chain, and regulatory teams.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Co‑create and own the product roadmap; translate strategy into detailed plans and execution schedules.
- Oversee full product lifecycle: concept, feasibility, development, launch, and post‑launch performance analysis.
- Embed sustainability practices in product design, packaging, and manufacturing.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the product development team.
- Conduct comprehensive market, consumer, and competitor research to identify new opportunities.
- Champion cross‑functional coordination with marketing, ops, finance, and supply chain for timely delivery.
- Ensure products meet UK/EU/US/AU/CA cosmetic regulations and labelling requirements.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with suppliers, fragrance houses, and packaging vendors.
- Manage a complex product portfolio and drive portfolio optimisation.
**Required Skills**
- Proven product leadership in cosmetics, skincare, or personal care.
- Expertise in sustainable packaging and manufacturing processes.
- Deep knowledge of cosmetic regulations and labelling across major markets.
- Strategic thinking, roadmap development, and execution experience.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team‑building capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency with project management tools (ClickUp, Monday, Asana) and data analytics.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetics, or related field.
- Professional certifications in product management or cosmetic regulation (e.g., Certified Professional in Product Management, Cosmetic Product Development certification) preferred.
