**Job Title:** Enterprise Architect / Lead Architect / Chief Architect – Senior / Principal Consultant
**Role Summary:**
Consultant responsible for designing, delivering, and leading technology architecture engagements that solve complex business challenges. At Senior level, leads single projects or workstreams, applying structured problem‑solving and mentoring teams. At Principal level, manages multiple engagements, provides strategic architecture guidance, drives commercial outcomes, and develops high‑performing practice teams.
**Expectations:**
- Lead or oversee architecture projects, ensuring clarity, scope, risk, and delivery quality.
- Build trusted relationships with executives, business leaders, and technical teams.
- Translate strategic objectives into architectural solutions that deliver value and maintain margins.
- Mentor junior architects and contribute to team and practice development.
- Own commercial oversight: scope, budgets, proposals, and account growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Client Delivery** – Shape, draft, and execute architecture solutions that address business and technology challenges; use structured frameworks to analyze complex problems.
2. **Project Leadership** – Senior: lead one project or workstream, manage risks and dependencies. Principal: steward multiple engagements, balance client needs with commercial goals.
3. **Client Engagement** – Cultivate relationships at all levels; simplify complex concepts, communicate clearly, and manage expectations.
4. **People & Leadership Development** – Coach and mentor team members; build and lead high‑performing practice teams; share knowledge and best practices.
5. **Commercial & Business Development** – Apply commercial acumen; develop proposals, identify upsell/cross‑sell opportunities, and support portfolio growth.
6. **Practice & Proposition Development** – Contribute to the evolution of architecture services, tools, and delivery methods; produce collateral and thought‑leadership material.
**Required Skills:**
- Proven track record in technology‑led consulting and enterprise architecture.
- Experience delivering transformation, disruption, or change initiatives.
- Strong structured problem‑solving and framework‑driven approach.
- Deep understanding of major technology providers, industry trends, and architecture best practices.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Ability to work under ambiguity, maintain a big‑picture view, and manage complex projects.
- Leadership capability: mentoring, team building, and portfolio oversight (Principal level).
- Commercial awareness: scope definition, budget management, and account development.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional architecture certification preferred (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent).
- Certifications demonstrating consulting or business analysis skills (e.g., PMI‑PMP, Prince2, or equivalent) are advantageous.
