Job title: Sage 1000 Integration Consultant (M/F)
Role Summary:
Provide end‑to‑end integration and configuration of Sage 1000 (or X3) for clients, focusing on accounting, sales, treasury, and fixed‑assets modules. Lead functional and technical analysis, develop custom scripts and interfaces, manage electronic invoicing deployment, conduct testing, and provide post‑launch support. Act as a project liaison between IT and business users, ensuring rapid, plug‑and‑play delivery.
Expectations:
- 7–10 years of hands‑on Sage 1000 experience in an implementation or project‑lead capacity.
- Proven ability to manage multi‑disciplinary ERP integration projects using established methodologies.
- Self‑directed, decisive leadership style with strong organization and fast‑delivery focus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with IT and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and tailor Sage 1000 modules to meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain scripts, reports, connectors, and interfaces for system integration.
- Lead the deployment and compliance of electronic invoicing processes (e.g., Chorus Pro, Factur‑X).
- Analyze user needs, produce functional and technical specifications, and execute appropriate configuration.
- Plan and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance tests; facilitate rollout and post‑go‑live support.
- Resolve incidents, drive continuous improvement, and conduct knowledge transfer to internal teams.
Required Skills:
- Deep technical proficiency in Sage 1000 (and X3) installation, configuration, and customization.
- ERP project management, including scoping, scheduling, and stakeholder coordination.
- Scripting and reporting (SQL, VBA, or equivalent); interface/connector development.
- Experience with electronic invoicing standards and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation abilities.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent ERP project management certification is desirable.
- Sage 1000 (or X3) functional and technical certifications preferred.
