Job Description: **Job title** Deep Learning Intern **Role Summary** Conduct research on Transformer‑based models for dental image denoising, evaluate performance relative to classical methods and convolution‑based networks, and adapt a selected Transformer model via transfer learning or fine‑tuning. **Expectations** - Master's or B.Sc. final year student in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. - Strong foundation in mathematics, signal processing, image analysis and deep learning. - Ability to implement, train and benchmark state‑of‑the‑art neural architectures in Python (PyTorch/TensorFlow). - Communicate results clearly through technical reports and presentations. **Key Responsibilities** - Identify and select a suitable Transformer architecture for dental radiography denoising. - Preprocess raw intra‑oral and extra‑oral image datasets and prepare training pipelines. - Fine‑tune the chosen model on the company’s proprietary dataset. - Quantitatively compare denoising performance (execution time, signal‑to‑noise ratio, artifact suppression) against baseline techniques. - Document experimental setup, hyperparameters, metrics, and insights. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to discuss feasibility and integration of results. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Python programming and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow). - Experience with Transformers (e.g., Vision Transformers, Swin, etc.) or willingness to learn. - Knowledge of image denoising, convolutional neural networks, and evaluation metrics. - Solid mathematical skills: linear algebra, probability, optimization. - Good scientific writing and presentation skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in a Master’s or Engineering degree program (final year) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related discipline. - Coursework or projects in deep learning, image processing, and signal processing.
