Job Description
**Job Title:** Program Manager **Role Summary:** Lead and deliver large‑scale aerospace and space launch program activities from bid through closure, ensuring customer satisfaction, economic performance, and adherence to quality, schedule, and environmental objectives in a matrixed manufacturing environment. **Expectations:** - Full ownership of program customer relations and financial outcomes. - Maintain customer satisfaction and program profitability as defined by the business case. - Lead a cross‑functional program team to execute all lifecycle phases, aligning with commercial, technical, and production partners. - Apply Lean continuous improvement and other business improvement initiatives. - Deliver on environmental compliance (ISO 14001) and other statutory requirements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, maintain and communicate program plans, resource schedules, and baselines. - Serve as the prime customer interface; ensure clear, timely communication. - Establish and uphold key performance indicators, including KPIs and Earned Value Management (EVM). - Manage risk and opportunity registers, applying formal risk management processes. - Implement data and configuration management protocols. - Ensure compliance with all program management and support processes. - Lead team performance, mentorship, and motivation; promote a high‑standard of teamwork and personal contribution. **Required Skills:** - 10 + years program management experience, with contracts > €25 M; proven delivery in similar industrial aerospace or defense settings. - Strong matrix organization competence; ability to coordinate across technical, commercial, production, and support functions. - Leadership, communication, and stakeholder management at executive level. - Proficiency in planning tools (Project, SAP) and MS Office suite. - Analytical aptitude for financial performance, KPIs, and resource planning. - Process‑oriented, solution‑focused, and adept at implementing continuous improvement. - Fluency in Dutch, French, and English. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Master’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent). - PMP, Prince2, or equivalent program management certification.
