Job Title: Head of Marketing
Role Summary:
Lead the global marketing strategy for a UK sports and athleisure brand, driving brand positioning, digital performance, community growth, and e‑commerce revenue. Own end‑to‑end marketing operations, mentor a high‑energy team, and collaborate across product, sales, and operations to deliver measurable commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute annual marketing plans aligned with product launches and growth targets.
- Drive digital marketing across paid social, PPC, SEO, CRM, email, and retention channels.
- Optimize e‑commerce funnels to maximize customer acquisition, engagement, and conversion.
- Craft and deliver a cohesive content strategy across all platforms.
- Lead social media growth, influencer collaborations, and creator‑led campaigns.
- Build and nurture community presence through online and real‑world events.
- Plan and launch integrated multi‑channel campaigns for key product drops and seasonal stories.
- Manage relationships with agencies, production partners, and freelancers.
- Identify, negotiate, activate, and measure athlete, team, creator, and brand partnerships.
- Coach and develop the marketing team, fostering creativity and accountability.
- Align marketing with product, e‑commerce, sales, and operations.
- Oversee the marketing budget, report ROI and strategic progress.
Required Skills
- Proven senior marketing leadership in sports, athleisure, lifestyle, fashion, or youth‑led consumer brands.
- Deep expertise in digital performance marketing, e‑commerce, and data‑driven decision making.
- Track record of scaling social media, community, and influencer programs.
- Experience executing integrated cross‑channel campaigns.
- Strong creative judgment coupled with the ability to deliver fast, high‑quality results.
- Comfortable managing budgets, ROI analysis, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration and team‑building capabilities.
- Passion for sport, fitness, or active lifestyles is a distinct advantage.
Required Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
