**Job Title:** Senior Security Operations Specialist **Role Summary:** Senior-level individual contributor responsible for ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery of physical security operations across 20+ data centres in 6 countries. Provides operational guidance to site managers, translates corporate policies into on‑site procedures, monitors compliance and SLA performance, manages incident response, conducts audits, and champions security awareness. **Expactations:** - Deliver repeatable, compliant security practices across all sites. - Maintain or exceed customer SLAs for physical security. - Proactively identify, report, and remediate procedural gaps. - Respond swiftly to incidents, documenting actions per global plans. - Provide regular performance and compliance reports to governance. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Translate corporate security policies into practical, standardized operational procedures for on‑site managers. 2. Provide expert guidance and support to Data Centre Operations Managers and site teams. 3. Monitor site‑level compliance; close procedural gaps with management. 4. Track security KPIs, identify variances, and drive corrective actions. 5. Act as primary operational point of contact for physical security incidents; coordinate response and documentation. 6. Conduct and coordinate regular security audits and assessments; ensure timely remediation of findings. 7. Champion security awareness and training, delivering consistent programs to on‑site staff. 8. Build collaborative relationships with SDCOMs, Security Governance, and customer‑facing teams. 9. Prepare and present regular reports on operational security performance, compliance metrics, and incident trends. **Required Skills:** - Minimum 6+ years managing physical security operations in multi‑site, multi‑country environments. - Experience in data centre or critical infrastructure sectors highly desirable. - Proven ability to drive operational excellence without direct reporting authority. - Strong influence and communication skills; ability to translate complex policies into clear directives. - Proactive, systematic problem‑solving and continuous improvement mindset. - Customer‑service orientation; understanding of SLA importance. - Adaptability to diverse cultural and regulatory contexts. - Willingness to travel internationally as needed. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Facility Management, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Professional security certifications focused on operational management (e.g., Certified Protection Professional - CPP) preferred but not mandatory.
