Job Description

**Job Title** Industrial Computer Engineer (F/H) **Role Summary** Responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining the sedApta MES platform for industrial projects (non‑pharmaceutical). Acts as the technical and functional lead, translating business processes into MES solutions, ensuring alignment between client needs and system capabilities, and delivering functional testing, deployment, and ongoing support. **Expectations** - Navigate end‑to‑end project lifecycle from requirements capture to post‑implementation maintenance. - Serve as primary consultant for process analysis, solution design, and system integration. - Mentor and, if required, lead a small engineering team. - Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industrial IT trends and vendor solutions. **Key Responsibilities** - Analyze business processes and capture client requirements. - Participate in cost estimation and functional specification development. - Design and develop MES modules, ensuring they meet defined specifications. - Conduct functional test planning, execution, and results validation. - Coordinate solution integration and deployment with customers. - Provide post‑deployment support and maintenance. - Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team when project scope demands. - Engage in technical strategy and technological scouting activities. **Required Skills** - Strong background in industrial information systems and MES architecture. - Project management experience in IT/software delivery. - Leadership, coaching, and effective communication with cross‑functional stakeholders. - Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Collaborative mindset with experience working in team environments. - Client‑facing service orientation and vendor relationship management. - Analytical problem‑solving and test‑driven development mindset. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. - Professional certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or equivalent preferred. - Certifications in MES or industrial automation platforms (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) are a plus.
