Job Description

**Job Title** Electronics Manufacturing Data Analyst **Role Summary** Analyze production lifecycle data for low‑volume defence electronics, transforming insights into process improvements aimed at efficiency, waste reduction, and product reliability. Deliver dashboards and performance frameworks to support engineering, production, and quality teams. **Expectations** - 12‑month contract, 37 hours per week, hourly remuneration of £75 (umbrella). - Must obtain UK Eyes‑only security clearance by start date. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Extract, clean, and analyze complex datasets across manufacturing, testing, and supply‑chain stages. 2. Detect trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process optimisation. 3. Design data‑driven solutions to improve throughput, reduce scrap, and enhance reliability. 4. Collaborate with electronics engineers, production staff, and QA specialists to translate analysis into actionable initiatives. 5. Build and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for technical and non‑technical stakeholders. 6. Recommend enhancements to data collection, tooling, and overall data‑management practices. 7. Contribute to establishing robust performance‑measurement frameworks across production areas. 8. Mentor junior analysts as required. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in data analysis (statistical methods, data mining). - Solid background in electronic engineering or equivalent technical discipline. - Hands‑on experience working within a manufacturing environment. - Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data‑visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). - Strong problem‑solving and communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or closely related field. - Relevant certifications in data analytics or manufacturing (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt, Certified Data Analyst) preferred but not mandatory. ---
