**Job Title**
IT Legal Counsel (M/F)
**Role Summary**
Provide comprehensive legal counsel on intra‑group contracts and transactions related to non‑market goods and services, focusing on IT, data, and electronic payment domains. Support business units throughout bid processes, contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution while ensuring alignment with the company’s transfer‑pricing policies and data protection requirements.
**Expectations**
- Deliver timely, accurate legal guidance aligned with global corporate standards.
- Collaborate closely with commercial, finance, and DPO teams to mitigate legal risks.
- Maintain high-quality contract and documentation management.
- Represent the company in negotiations, legal proceedings, and regulatory interactions.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Draft, review and update all intra‑group IT/Data contracts, ensuring compliance with transfer‑pricing rules.
- Advise on bid‑tender processes: legal due diligence, contract framing, and compliance checks.
- Negotiate and finalize contractual terms with vendors, suppliers, and partners in the IT, data, and payment sectors.
- Manage pre‑contention and contentions: strategy, evidence collection, settlement negotiations, and court preparation.
- Respond to formal notices, service of process, and regulatory inquiries.
- Deliver training and awareness sessions to internal stakeholders on IT, data, and electronic payment law.
- Assist the DPO with breach investigations, response drafting, and notifications to affected individuals.
- Oversee contract archiving and lifecycle management via the company’s contract‑management platform.
**Required Skills**
- Strong grasp of commercial contract law, IT & data legislation, and electronic payment regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Proven experience managing disputes and contentions.
- Knowledge of EU GDPR, data protection principles and data breach response.
- Competence in transfer‑pricing policies and intra‑group agreements.
- Ability to train non‑legal staff and translate technical concepts into plain language.
- Detail‑oriented with strong project and time‑management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Qualified lawyer (Master’s in Law or equivalent).
- Admission to the bar (or equivalent legal qualification).
- Preferred: specialized training or certification in IT law, data protection (e.g., GDPR Practitioner), or contract management.
