Job Description
Job Title: Risk & Compliance Assistant Role Summary: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Risk & Compliance and the team, managing calendar, travel, expenses, invoicing, record‑keeping, training coordination, and compliance communications for a global legal practice. Expectations: - Deliver precise, timely support in a fast‑paced environment. - Own projects and maintain high accuracy. - Communicate effectively with internal partners, external providers, and training teams. - Demonstrate strong judgment and teamwork. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the Director’s calendar, meetings, room bookings, travel, and accommodations. - Administer expenses via Chrome River and liaise with Finance on invoice processing. - Maintain electronic filing, version control, and master records of compliance activities. - Coordinate training schedules, room bookings, and attendance registers; prepare training materials and coordinate IT/AV resources. - Support insider lists management, policy preparation, and continuing education liaison. - Monitor and respond to Risk & Compliance inboxes, escalating queries. - Assist with annual practising certificate renewals and document production. - Organise team events and ad‑hoc administrative tasks. Required Skills: - Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and punctuality. - Strong written and verbal communication; excellent interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. - Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage time effectively in a dynamic setting. - Team player with sound judgment and willingness to own projects. Required Education & Certifications: - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (preferred fields: Business, Law, or related). - No mandatory certifications required, though knowledge of compliance frameworks is an advantage.
