Job Description
**Job Title** Cyber, Risk & Assurance Lead **Role Summary** Lead day‑to‑day security operations under the Information and Assurance Manager, acting as the first point of contact for security queries and incidents. Manage corporate security mailboxes, maintain the security risk register, support audit activities, and promote cyber security best practices across the organisation. Deliver continuous improvement of security policy and procedures while fostering an inclusive security culture and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. **Expectations** - Be the senior representative for security within the team, coordinating responses to incidents, inquiries and requests. - Maintain ownership of security mailboxes, workload allocation and incident logs. - Ensure the security risk register and audit schedules are current and aligned with policy frameworks (e.g., NIST). - Influence project and policy decisions to embed secure design and cyber‑risk management. - Foster a positive security culture through education, partnership and continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Review and align cyber security risk assessment processes with approved frameworks (e.g., NIST), integrating secure-by‑design (SbD) lessons into business and project plans. 2. Prepare, deliver and track regular security metrics, incident reports and compliance status for governance forums and authorities. 3. Coordinate audit preparations (DSHC, CAF) and maintain audit schedules, ensuring completion of activities by stakeholders. 4. Manage incident logs, facilitate lessons‑learned activities and update related processes or policies. 5. Collaborate on supply‑chain security assurance, providing guidance and support to other business units. 6. Support risk register maintenance, working closely with security business partners. 7. Advise on security awareness, training and culture initiatives, building networks with government and industry peers. 8. Promote cyber security standards and best practices to influence project and policy decision making. 9. Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, and document requirements, design process flows, and define integration with enterprise systems (Planon IWMS, Salesforce CRM, Microsoft 365/Azure). Deliver scalable, self‑service solutions that enhance efficiency and transparency for civil servants and citizens. Expectations: - Translate business needs into detailed functional & non‑functional requirements for ServiceNow modules. - Produce BRDs, process maps, data flow diagrams, user journeys, use cases and acceptance criteria. - Maintain traceability across the project lifecycle and prioritize improvements aligned with business strategy. - Identify automation, GenAI, and mobile opportunities to optimise workflows and self‑service. Key Responsibilities: - Lead stakeholder workshops to gather and validate requirements for HRSD, CSM, ITSM, ITOM, BCM, GRC, SAM, SPM, CMDB, CSDM. - Create as‑is and to‑be process maps, identify automation gaps, and recommend enhancements. - Define and manage requirement artefacts, traceability matrices, and acceptance criteria. - Coordinate ServiceNow integrations with Planon IWMS, Salesforce, Microsoft 365/Azure, ensuring data integrity and seamless flows. - Collaborate with technical teams to configure, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions. - Support change management, user training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills: - Strong analytical, problem‑solving and documentation skills. - Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration, basic scripting (JavaScript), and integration tools. - Experience with business process modelling (BPMN, flowcharts) and data flow diagrams. - Knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, and ServiceNow AI capabilities. - Familiarity with enterprise systems: Planon IWMS, Salesforce, Microsoft 365/Azure. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation abilities. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis or related field (or equivalent experience). - ServiceNow System Administrator and ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (or equivalent) certifications. - ITIL Foundation (or higher) and Agile or Prince2 Foundation recommended. - Business Analysis certifications (CBAP/CCBA) or proven equivalent experience are highly valued.
