**Job title** Actuarial Summer Intern **Role Summary** An 8‑week full‑time internship (35 hours per week) in the Group Capital Management & Investment team, providing hands‑on exposure to actuarial analysis, credit risk assessment, and investment processes in a real financial services environment. **Expactations** - Deliver timely and accurate analytical outputs to senior stakeholders. - Demonstrate initiative on ad‑hoc projects and continuous improvement of processes. - Showcase strong numerical reasoning and communication skills. - Actively seek and apply learning opportunities to develop product knowledge. **Key Responsibilities** - Collaborate with actuaries, analysts, and investment professionals on business‑relevant tasks. - Assist in credit risk analysis to evaluate the financial strength of companies and assets. - Maintain and organize key records, reports, and documentation. - Contribute to the creation of analytical reports and findings for senior stakeholders. - Participate in ad‑hoc projects, including the deployment of AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency. **Required Skills** - Strong numeracy; A‑level Mathematics or a numerically intensive subject (Physics, Economics, Actuarial, etc.). - Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. - Ability to develop, manage, and document spreadsheet‑based processes. - Excellent oral and written communication. - Highly organized with independent workflow management. - Curiosity and problem‑solving mindset. **Required Education & Certifications** - Completion of an A‑level in Mathematics (or equivalent) is required. - No additional degree or certification specified; relevant coursework or internship experience in actuarial, finance, or risk analysis is advantageous.
