Job Description: **Job Title:** Telecom Engineer - Offshore Substation **Role Summary:** Coordinate telecom systems design and integration for offshore wind farm grid connections. Oversee communication networks critical for offshore/onshore infrastructure operation, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project timelines from March to September 2026. **Expectations:** - Lead telecom study planning and execution, adapting to evolving project needs. - Ensure technical compliance (IEC standards, cybersecurity) in offshore environments. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality deliverables on schedule. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and validate telecom architecture (network topology, redundancy) for offshore/onshore projects. - Manage technical studies for optical/fibre systems, SCADA integration, and bandwidth calculations. - Oversee FAT/HAT/SAT testing and prepare interface documentation. - Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve telecom challenges and ensure operational preparedness. - Maintain accurate technical deliverables (specifications, schematics, compliance reports). **Required Skills:** - 3–5 years in telecom engineering, preferably offshore or energy sectors. - Expertise in network design (fibre optics, bandwidth), SCADA systems, and IEC standards. - Project coordination, cross-functional team collaboration, and problem-solving. - Proficiency in technical documentation and telecom process management. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s/Master’s in Telecommunications or Engineering (preferred offshore/electrical focus). - Familiarity with offshore telecom best practices and cybersecurity protocols.
