**Job Title:** Project Manager – Energy & Industrial Utilities Studies (M/F)
**Role Summary:**
Lead end‑to‑end engineering projects for industrial energy transition, from concept development through design, construction, commissioning and hand‑over. Act as the technical reference for assigned projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with client requirements, standards, and schedules on national and international assignments.
**Expectations:**
- Minimum 7 years of engineering experience in design and delivery of turnkey industrial utilities (energy, steam, cooling, compressed air, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, control costs, and meet key milestones.
- Strong technical aptitude in energy efficiency and transition solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) required; French is a plus.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define technical solutions, perform feasibility studies, size installations, and ensure compliance with client specifications and applicable standards.
- Write specifications, technical notes, and PID documentation.
- Lead design office staff (engineers, draftsmen); supervise production of drawings, schematics, and calculation reports.
- Conduct supplier and subcontractor tendering, evaluate offers, and support pre‑sales and cost estimation activities.
- Prepare detailed execution studies and review contractor execution plans.
- Review and approve contractor execution drawings; monitor site progress and lead technical coordination meetings.
- Manage construction activities for assigned packages, oversee commissioning, and support final acceptance.
- Validate performance, assist operations, and ensure quality and safety throughout the project life‑cycle.
- Plan project schedules, allocate resources, control budgets, and manage interfaces with other disciplines.
**Required Skills:**
- Expertise in industrial utilities engineering (energy, steam, HVAC, compressed air, water, etc.).
- Proficiency with design tools and CAD/CAE software; ability to read and produce P&ID, technical specifications, and calculation reports.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; cost‑control and risk‑management competence.
- Project management skills (planning, scheduling, resource coordination).
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent English; French language proficiency advantageous.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) from an accredited engineering school or university, preferably in Mechanical, Energy, or Industrial Engineering.
- Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
