Job Description
Job Title: Software Engineer – Integrations Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain robust API‑based integrations that connect client systems with Cutover’s core SaaS platform, ensuring secure, scalable, and high‑quality delivery to meet SLAs. Expectations: • 2+ years of professional development experience across multiple languages (Ruby, Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, C#). • Solid understanding of system design, architecture, and security compliance. • Proven ability to create and deploy RESTful services and work with HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, UDP, TCP. • Familiarity with integration platforms (Zapier, Mulesoft, IFTTT) and ability to craft “mash‑up” solutions. • Strong problem‑solving, innovative thinking, and effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: • Build new integrations and enhance existing ones for enterprise customers. • Translate customer requirements into practical, secure solutions. • Write clean, well‑tested code and perform peer reviews. • Deliver integrations on time within scope and SLA expectations. • Set up demo/mock environments to validate and showcase solutions. • Maintain and improve internal and customer‑facing documentation. Required Skills: • Programming in Ruby, Java, Python, PHP, JavaScript, or C#. • REST API development and web protocol knowledge. • System integration concepts (data ingestion, transformation, sharing). • Experience with API orchestration tools and middleware. • Strong analytical, debugging, and documentation skills. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
