Job Description
Job Title: Graduate Digital Design Engineer Role Summary: Support ASIC digital and mixed‑signal design by creating RTL, performing simulations, verification, and documentation under guidance of senior design engineers. Expectations: - Learn and apply industry‑standard design flows and tools. - Progress from reviewing high‑level requirements to producing sign‑off‑ready RTL. - Communicate design intent and status clearly with cross‑functional teams. - Contribute to process improvements and best‑practice documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret design specifications to produce detailed micro‑architecture diagrams. - Write synthesizable RTL in SystemVerilog; ensure compliance with functional, timing, power, and area targets. - Create and maintain thorough design documentation, participate in design reviews, and follow established sign‑off procedures. - Interface with analogue, physical design, verification, and DFT teams to ensure integrated system performance. - Run simulations, perform debugging, and resolve design issues using industry tools (Lint, CDC, formal verification). - Apply scripting (Python/Perl/Tcl) to automate verification and design tasks. - Use version control (Git) and Linux development environments. Required Skills: - Strong foundation in digital logic design and design flows. - Proficiency in HDL languages (Verilog, VHDL) and simulation tools. - Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Perl, or Tcl). - Experience or exposure to version control (Git) and Linux. - Analytical problem‑solving ability and clear communication skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. - Internship or industrial placement in digital/ASIC design preferred. ---
