Job title: Head of Ecommerce Marketing Role Summary: Senior executive responsible for driving revenue, profitability and sustainable growth across multi‑market ecommerce channels. Leads an internal marketing team and agency partners to execute paid media, SEO, CRM, and lifecycle campaigns, while implementing data‑driven experimentation, forecasting and AI‑powered efficiencies. Expectations: - Deliver on agreed revenue and ROI targets across all EU markets. - Demonstrate measurable impact on CAC, ROAS, LTV and overall e‑commerce profitability. - Build and scale high‑performance marketing capability, emphasising performance, conversion and retention. Key Responsibilities: - Co‑owner of ecommerce revenue and profitability objectives. - Design and implement a multi‑market marketing strategy for paid search, paid social, affiliates and emerging channels. - Own and optimise paid media spend, ensuring disciplined CAC and continuous return on advertising spend. - Develop and execute an organic growth plan, including SEO strategy. - Lead CRM and lifecycle initiatives to boost retention, engagement and customer lifetime value. - Deploy structured testing and conversion optimisation frameworks. - Manage agency relationships and grow a lean, high‑performing internal team. - Provide accurate forecasting, detailed reporting and clear performance visibility to senior leadership. - Introduce AI tools and automation to improve marketing efficiency and outcomes. Required Skills: - 8‑12+ years of leadership experience in ecommerce or DTC marketing with a proven record of profitable growth. - Deep expertise in paid media, SEO, CRM and performance‑focused marketing channels. - Strong commercial and financial acumen, with rigorous reporting and forecasting discipline. - Proven ability to manage agencies and cultivate internal talent. - Highly data‑driven mindset with competency in experimentation, analytics and reporting tools. - Adaptability to fast‑changing, high‑pressure, turnaround or growth‑phase environments. - Experience operating across multiple European ecommerce markets preferred. - Knowledge of Shopify platform advantageous. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - Any relevant certifications (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, HubSpot, SEO, analytics) are a plus.
