Job Title: Salesforce Functional Team Lead
Role Summary:
Lead a small-to-medium Salesforce functional team, orchestrating requirement gathering, solution design, platform configuration, and user acceptance testing while ensuring alignment with business objectives and platform best practices.
Expectations:
- Deliver functional analysis, documentation, and implement declarative Salesforce solutions.
- Manage and mentor a team of functional analysts and/or administrators, ensuring timely, high‑quality deliverables.
- Serve as the primary functional liaison with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and administrators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and validate stakeholder business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
- Assess existing Salesforce environments, identify gaps, and propose scalable solutions.
- Configure declarative Salesforce features (objects, fields, workflow, flow, validation rules, page layouts, etc.).
- Support UAT and lead defect resolution processes.
- Assign tasks, review deliverables, and enforce quality and deadline compliance for the functional team.
- Mentor and train junior team members, providing coaching and career guidance.
- Escalate complex functional issues and coordinate with project managers on resource alignment.
- Facilitate workshops, sprint reviews, and requirement gathering sessions.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years as a Salesforce functional analyst, consultant, or business analyst.
- 1+ year of leadership experience (team lead, coordinator, or mentor).
- Deep knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other core Salesforce products.
- Experience creating detailed process documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to balance hands‑on configuration work with team management responsibilities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and expectation management skills.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/French) is an asset.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Salesforce Administrator certification and/or Salesforce Business Analyst certification.
- Experience with integration projects and external systems.
- Familiarity with Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or CPQ is desirable.
