Job Description
**Job Title** Intern – Energy Studies Officer **Role Summary** Assist the Energy Project Manager within the Large Projects & Tender Department. Support the technical analysis, commercial drafting, and operational monitoring of energy valorisation projects for public and private clients. Contribute to data handling, performance modelling, and energy management system deployment across the group’s energy recovery units. **Expectations** * be currently enrolled in an engineering, university, or equivalent program (process engineering, general engineering with energy or energy efficiency specialization) * demonstrate rigor, curiosity, and full commitment to assigned tasks * display strong analytical and synthesis capabilities, methodical approach, and teamwork orientation **Key Responsibilities** 1. Analyse technical aspects of engineering projects that incorporate energy recovery. 2. Participate in the development of commercial proposals and the drafting of tender responses. 3. Maintain and update Power BI dashboards to track contractual heat sales, production data, and billing information. 4. Develop and refine calculation tools for evaluating the energy performance of Energy Recovery Units for bid responses. 5. Support the implementation of Energy Management Systems across sites. 6. Assist in conducting energy audits and monitoring improvement actions to identify hot‑gas potential. **Required Skills** * Proficiency in Excel (advanced spreadsheets, data analysis) * Strong interest in industrial processes and the circular economy transition * Python programming or knowledge of thermodynamic simulation software (preferred) * Fluent in French (both written and spoken) * Excellent analytical, synthesizing, and methodological skills * Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style **Required Education & Certifications** * Current student in an engineering school, university, or equivalent program in process engineering or a related field with a focus on energy or energy efficiency.
