**Job Title:**
Windows Systems Engineer – Microsoft Intune
**Role Summary:**
A technical engineer responsible for administering, evolving, and supporting a Microsoft Modern Workplace environment with a focus on Microsoft Intune. The role involves managing endpoint lifecycle, troubleshooting advanced incidents, integrating new use cases, and automating processes to enhance productivity and security.
**Expectations:**
- Deploy and manage Intune and MECM in a hybrid (cloud/on‑premise) setting.
- Lead progressive migration of devices to Intune‑centric Endpoint Management.
- Resolve level‑3 support incidents and conduct root‑cause analysis.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services (Teams, OneDrive, Office).
- Monitor system health, analyze logs, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Develop scripts (PowerShell, Graph API) and automation workflows.
- Produce and maintain dashboards (Power BI or equivalent).
- Document technical processes, knowledge base articles, and best practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Configure and scale Microsoft Intune and MECM for Windows, macOS, Android, iOS endpoints.
- Plan and execute device migration strategies, ensuring minimal business disruption.
- Perform OS, driver, BIOS, and firmware lifecycle management for desktops and mobile devices.
- Manage security policies, compliance settings, and update deployments within Intune.
- Oversee Microsoft 365 tenancy, including Teams, OneDrive, and Office configuration and support.
- Use monitoring tools to collect, analyze, and report on system performance and incidents.
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Graph API, and other scripting tools.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for operational metrics.
- Draft and update technical documentation and knowledge base content.
- Enable and capture lessons learned to improve incident response and configuration stability.
**Required Skills:**
- Expertise in Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, and hybrid cloud/on‑premise environments.
- Strong understanding of Windows endpoint management, drivers, BIOS, firmware, and OS updates.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration (Teams, OneDrive, Office).
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for multi‑platform environments (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS).
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Graph API).
- Experience creating and managing Power BI or equivalent dashboards.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Microsoft certifications such as M365 (MS-100/MS-101) or Intune (MS-CM) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Microsoft workstation and Modern Workplace environments.
