Job Description
Job Title: Business Analyst Role Summary: Provide end‑to‑end business analysis for Operational Technology (OT) programmes and manufacturing processes within a Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) setting. Translate business needs into detailed technology requirements, assess options, quantify benefits, and support the creation of robust business cases. Work collaboratively with cross‑functional IT and business teams to deliver data‑driven solutions that align with operational objectives. Expactations: Deliver comprehensive business requirements documents, feasibility analyses, and business case components that enable informed decision‑making and project justification. Provide clear, actionable insights from data analysis to optimise manufacturing operations and technology deployment. Facilitate communication between stakeholders and ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals. Key Responsibilities: • Analyse business objectives, functions, and processes across manufacturing operations. • Draft detailed business requirement specifications for end‑to‑end technology solutions. • Conduct options analysis, assess feasibility, operational impact, and quantify potential business benefits. • Support business case development and presentation to executive stakeholders. • Collaborate with IT, production, and supply‑chain teams to ensure solution relevance and integration. • Model business processes using BPMN and maintain accurate process documentation. • Gather, validate, and interpret data to inform requirements and performance metrics. • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences. Required Skills: • Proven data analysis capabilities and experience translating data into clear business requirements. • Strong knowledge of Business Process Modelling (BPMN). • Experience working in cross‑functional teams within a manufacturing/FMCG environment. • Logical reasoning and problem‑solving mindset with ability to explain complex concepts at all levels. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Familiarity with solutions in the OT or manufacturing technology domain. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Information Technology, or a related field. • BCS qualification or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
