Job Description: **Job title:** Senior Backend Developer **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services that support AI-powered skincare evaluations, personalized program delivery, and real‑time user interaction. Lead infrastructure improvements, implement machine‑learning inference pipelines, and ensure high reliability, security, and performance across cloud environments. **Expactations:** - Deliver production‑grade Go (or Python) services with high throughput and low latency. - Own end‑to‑end systems from API design to monitoring and CI/CD pipelines. - Adapt quickly to new feature requirements and emerging user scenarios. - Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and DevOps to refine algorithms and data pipelines. **Key Responsibilities:** - Build and maintain REST/GraphQL APIs for user requests, model inference, and analytics. - Design and optimize data ingestion, storage, and aggregation workflows for structured and log data. - Develop and deploy machine‑learning inference services on cloud infrastructure. - Implement caching, load balancing, and database sharding strategies to support scaling. - Create automated tests, build pipelines (GitLab CI), and enforce code quality standards. - Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging for all backend components. - Participate in architectural reviews and propose enhancements to improve reliability and cost efficiency. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in Go (preferred) or Python; experience with Gin, Gorilla/mux, Flask, or Django. - Strong background in building high‑compute, concurrent systems. - Hands‑on experience with AWS (Fargate, S3, DynamoDB) or comparable cloud platforms (GCP, Azure). - Deep understanding of system design concepts: load balancing, caching, relational/no‑SQL databases, message queues. - Familiarity with CI/CD practices, container orchestration (Kubernetes/Helm), and automated testing. - Knowledge of security best practices for data handling and user authentication. - Ability to analyze complex data pipelines and optimize performance. - Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) is a plus.
