**Job Title:** Data Engineer – Dataiku Expert **Role Summary:** Design, develop, and maintain complex data transformation pipelines using Dataiku for a client in the energy sector. Ensure data quality, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and drive end‑to‑end project delivery while adhering to best practices and governance standards. **Expectations:** - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data engineering projects. - At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with Dataiku. - Strong proficiency in SQL (≥5 years) and Python (≥2 years). - Experience with a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure). - Fluent in English and French or English and Dutch; additional language a plus. - Proven ability to work autonomously, proactively, and adapt to evolving technologies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain Dataiku data‑transformation workflows following defined guidelines. - Collaborate with other Dataiku developers to refactor and replace legacy SAS programs. - Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across pipelines. - Lead full‑cycle project delivery from requirements gathering to production deployment. - Apply best practices for complex data transformations and data governance. - Provide technical guidance and propose innovative solutions within a dynamic team environment. **Required Skills:** - Dataiku platform (expert level). - SQL (advanced) and Python (intermediate to advanced). - Cloud services: AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and pipeline orchestration. - Version control (Git) and CI/CD concepts. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Effective communication and teamwork skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Dataiku DSS Certified Expert, cloud provider certifications) are advantageous but not mandatory.
