Job title: Business Intelligence Analyst
Role Summary:
Design, build, and optimize data and analytics solutions that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders across the organization.
Expactations:
- Deliver accurate, scalable analytics and reporting solutions on a continuous basis.
- Translate complex data into clear, business‑driven recommendations.
- Maintain high data quality and governance standards throughout the analytics lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore, clean, and analyze large, heterogeneous datasets from cloud and on‑premise sources.
- Identify key business trends, risks, and opportunities using advanced statistical methods.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, KPIs, and reports in Tableau and Power BI.
- Automate reporting pipelines to ensure scalability, consistency, and efficiency.
- Define and enforce data standards, documentation, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business leaders, product managers, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver value‑driven solutions.
- Act as a technical liaison, simplifying complex insights for non‑technical audiences.
- Stay current on emerging BI tools, data technologies, and analytics methodologies; experiment with predictive modeling, advanced visualization, and self‑service analytics.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Tableau and Power BI (dashboard and embedded analytics).
- Advanced SQL (queries, optimization, stored procedures) and solid data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing knowledge.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data technologies (Spark, Hive, streaming).
- Programming in Python or JavaScript for advanced visualizations.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications in Tableau, Power BI, or relevant cloud data services are a plus.
