Job Description
**Job Title:** System and Network Technician **Role Summary:** Deploy and maintain IT infrastructure for clients, balancing remote and on-site support to ensure user satisfaction and system performance. **Expectations:** Minimum 2 years of experience in IT operations; Bachelor’s-level technical certification in information technology; valid driver’s license for field work. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide on-site and remote IT support for hardware, software, and user systems (75% fieldwork, 25% office). - Install, configure, and integrate IT systems and components per client requirements and industry standards. - Monitor and resolve incidents/demand requests via ticketing systems, adhering to SLA timelines. - Conduct preventive maintenance and optimize user workflows through IT infrastructure improvements. - Collaborate with internal experts for server, security, and network (firewall) technical escalations. - Maintain system documentation and knowledge bases for incident tracking and process improvement. - Execute IT infrastructure audits and service management visits as required. **Required Skills:** - Expertise in Windows and macOS operating systems; Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and productivity tools. - Antivirus/spam solutions; data backup and risk management for physical/virtual systems. - Fundamental knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP/GPO. - Basic understanding of IPv4 networking and cloud/modern workspace environments. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Associate or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology (Bac+2/Bac+3). - Valid Class B driver’s license. - Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT operations experience.
