**Job Title:** Salesforce Architect
**Role Summary:**
Technical/Solutions Architect responsible for designing, governing, and overseeing end‑to‑end implementations of Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ, RCA, Billing) solutions. Acts as the bridge between business requirements and technical execution, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient architectures that align with organizational goals. Provides technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to development teams across the solution lifecycle.
**Expectations:**
- Define and enforce architectural frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Translate business needs into repeatable, high‑quality design patterns.
- Lead and mentor developers and fellow architects to deliver consistent solutions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, integration methods, and tools.
- Ensure alignment of delivery with budget, timeline, and business impact considerations.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and advise on adoption where beneficial.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, patterns, and guidelines for Salesforce Revenue Cloud implementations.
- Guide technical teams in building solutions that meet adaptability, scalability, availability, and security criteria.
- Conduct code reviews, provide design critiques, and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Oversee integration of APIs, web services, and middleware, emphasizing Data Cloud compatibility.
- Collaborate with project managers to define budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
- Lead agile ceremonies, facilitate clear communication of goals, and monitor progress against architectural standards.
- Perform performance evaluations, deliver feedback, and support professional development of team members.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud (CPQ, Revenue Cloud Automation, Billing).
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform development (Apex, Lightning, Flow).
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) – preferred.
- Expertise in system integration (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, event‑driven architectures).
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and sprint‑based delivery.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Leadership and mentorship capabilities; experience guiding cross‑functional teams.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Salesforce Architect‑level certification(s) (e.g., Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect) – preferred.
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist / Billing Specialist certifications – highly desirable.
- Additional certifications in cloud architecture, DevOps, or integration platforms are a plus.
