Job Description: Job title: Senior QA Engineer – .NET Automation Role Summary: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks for .NET applications. Champion a Shift‑Left testing culture, integrating BDD scenarios, CI/CD pipelines, and data‑driven test cases. Work cross‑functionally with product, development, and DevOps teams to ensure high quality and rapid feedback loops. Expectations: * 4–6 years of senior QA experience with a strong focus on .NET automation. * Proven expertise in SpecFlow (Gherkin), C#, and Azure DevOps environments. * Ability to architect scalable test frameworks and optimize automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines. * Strong analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: 1. Create and evolve a reusable automated testing framework using C# and .NET. 2. Implement BDD test scenarios in SpecFlow, collaborating closely with product owners. 3. Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps Pipelines for continuous testing and rapid feedback. 4. Define and manage test campaigns via Azure Test Plans or equivalent tools. 5. Perform complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and support data‑centric test cases. 6. Conduct exploratory functional testing, triage defects in Jira/Azure Boards, and drive issue resolution. 7. Mentor junior QA staff on automation practices, BDD, and DevOps principles. 8. Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Required Skills: * Advanced C# programming and experience with Visual Studio. * Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver or Playwright for .NET for UI automation. * Strong BDD implementation skills with SpecFlow. * Hands‑on experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps Pipelines, including test management. * Ability to design and execute complex SQL queries against relational databases. * Familiarity with REST API testing tools such as RestSharp. * Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Required Education & Certifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). * No specific certifications required, though Azure DevOps or Microsoft .NET certifications are advantageous.
