Job title: Senior AI/ML Data Engineer – 100% Remote (EMEA) Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and AI infrastructure that support AI-powered features for a SaaS platform targeting property management. Expectations: Deliver production‑ready, high‑quality data workflows; implement embeddings, vector databases, and RAG pipelines; integrate AI services with existing systems; ensure data quality, observability, and performance. Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to feed AI features. • Develop and optimize embeddings, vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS), and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. • Experiment with and deploy LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, etc.). • Collaborate with product and platform teams to integrate pipelines into services. • Establish best practices for data quality, observability, and performance in AI workflows. • Support deployment of Python‑based AI services to production environments. Required Skills: • 5+ years in data or backend engineering, preferably in SaaS. • Strong Python programming (FastAPI, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow). • Proficiency in SQL, relational database design, and data modeling. • Experience with embeddings/vector databases and RAG frameworks. • Familiarity with workflow orchestration (Airflow, Dagster). • Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP) is a plus. • Excellent collaboration and cross‑team communication skills.
