Job Description

**Job title** HVAC Automation Engineer (F/M) **Role Summary** Design, program, and maintain automation solutions for HVAC plant equipment across mainland France. Tasks include PLC/SCADA programming, HMI configuration, equipment commissioning, and field support. **Expectations** - Execute travel across France for on‑site commissioning, maintenance, and client support. - Deliver high‐quality automation projects from study through execution, including thorough documentation and supply compliance. - Provide technical assistance to internal teams and customers, ensuring successful machine integration in workshops. **Key Responsibilities** - Optimize and develop automation solutions during study and execution phases. - Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, gateways, and drives (Siemens, Schneider). - Produce functional analyses, system architecture, and BOM documentation. - Monitor procurement and verify material conformity. - Perform site tests, start‑ups, and fine‑tuning. - Support plant operators and client teams during commissioning and routine maintenance. - Participate in on‑site hand‑over to operator teams. **Required Skills** - PLC programming (Siemens/TIA Portal, Schneider/Unity Pro). - HMI design and configuration. - Variable speed drive programming and control logic. - Troubleshooting and field‑level diagnostics. - Documentation of functional specifications, architecture, and BOMs. - Familiarity with HVAC/GEC plant environments. - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Willingness to travel within France and handle overtime/rotations. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum 2‑year technical diploma (Bac+2 or equivalent) in Automation, Mechatronics, or related field. - Professional certification in Siemens or Schneider automation platforms preferred. - At least 5 years of relevant industry experience in automation engineering, ideally within HVAC or climate engineering sectors.
