Job Description

Job Title: Lead Machine Learning Engineer Role Summary: Lead end-to-end development of scalable machine learning systems using modern architectures, combining technical expertise with strategic leadership to align ML initiatives with organizational goals. Drive innovation through hands-on technical leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement of ML practices. Expactations: Lead program inception and execution of high-stakes ML projects; bridge client needs with technical solutions; ensure system performance, scalability, and maintainability; champion Responsible AI and MLOps principles; mentor teams and foster a culture of technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable ML systems, pipelines, and models end-to-end. - Translate client requirements into ML-driven solutions and oversee deployment. - Architect infrastructure for ML training, serving, and monitoring (on-premise-cloud). - Advocate for technical strategies aligned with business priorities and ML lifecycle best practices. - Guide teams through complex technical challenges and promote cross-functional collaboration. - Measure ML project impact and refine approaches to maximize client value. Required Skills: - Proficiency in Python/Shell for clean, scalable code; experience with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, MLFlow, Kubeflow. - Expertise in MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP/Databricks). - Design and operation of distributed systems for high-volume ML workloads. - Strong understanding of ML algorithms, model optimization, and evaluation metrics. - Leadership in stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and mentorship. Required Education & Certifications: Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; 5+ years ML engineering experience; Cloud ML certifications (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure) preferred.
