Job Description
**Job Title:** BI Analyst **Role Summary:** Responsible for owning and maintaining BI and analytics tools, ensuring data accuracy, consistent metric definitions, and delivering accessible visualisations for stakeholders across multiple markets. Acts as a bridge between data engineering and business users, promoting tool adoption and driving automation. **Expectations:** - High attention to detail and data integrity. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to prioritize requests and push back when appropriate. - Proactive in driving automation and AI‑enabled workflows. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage and optimise BI platforms (ThoughtSpot, Count) for performance and usability. - Co‑own the semantic layer with Analytics Engineering to standardise metrics. - Contribute to dbt projects, ensuring data availability for reporting. - Implement and maintain dbt tests and documentation (dbt & Notion). - Educate and advocate for BI tool usage across the organization. - Automate reporting processes and support transition to AI‑driven workflows. - Evaluate stakeholder requests and deliver suitable data solutions. **Required Skills:** - Proven analytics experience in a high‑growth environment. - Proficiency with BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker; experience with ThoughtSpot a plus). - Advanced SQL skills; experience querying large datasets (Snowflake). - Working knowledge of dbt and Kimball‑style data modelling (facts & dimensions). - Strong problem‑solving, prioritisation, and stakeholder communication abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics) or equivalent practical experience. - No specific certifications required; relevant BI or data‑engineering certifications are a plus.
