Job Description

**Job Title** Data & Analytics Summer Internship (2026) **Role Summary** An 8‑week internship for penultimate‑year students in STEM or technology fields. Interns support consulting project teams by conducting data analysis, building analytical models, and delivering insights to clients. The role includes internal capability‑building projects and presentation of work to senior leaders. **Expectations** - Penultimate‑year students with strong academic standing (2:1 or higher preferred). - Intellectual curiosity and logical, structured problem‑solving skills. - Proactive ownership of work, high energy, and enthusiasm. - Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively in small teams. **Key Responsibilities** - Work alongside consulting project teams to deliver data‑driven analyses and recommendations. - Develop and apply analytical models using Python, SQL, R, Alteryx, and other tools. - Create data visualizations with Tableau, PowerBI, or similar platforms. - Participate in internal projects aimed at expanding analytics capabilities. - Prepare and present analytical findings to senior leaders and partners. - Take ownership of assigned deliverables and meet project deadlines. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and R (data manipulation, modeling). - Experience with data‑wrangling and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx). - Basic knowledge of modern machine‑learning and optimisation techniques. - Strong analytical, logical, and structured thinking. - Effective written and verbal communication. - Team collaboration and proactive work ethic. **Required Education & Certifications** - Currently enrolled in the penultimate year of a STEM or technology‑related degree program. - Expected final grade of 2:1 or higher (preferred, not mandatory).
