**Job Title**
Senior Site Reliability Engineer
**Role Summary**
Design, operate, and scale blockchain node infrastructure across multiple public cloud environments. Build and maintain high‑availability Kubernetes clusters, implement IaC, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and lead reliability initiatives for a fast‑growing blockchain platform.
**Expectations**
- Deliver ownership of production systems with high integrity and accountability.
- Act proactively in ambiguous situations, driving decisions independently.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with security, engineering, and product teams.
- Mentor junior staff and influence SRE best practices across teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Operate, troubleshoot, and scale full nodes for chains (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Base, Arc).
- Design, deploy, and manage secure, self‑healing Kubernetes clusters; write Helm charts, operators, and RBAC policies.
- Develop and maintain Terraform or similar IaC scripts for cloud native deployments on AWS/GCP.
- Automate and improve CI/CD pipelines (blue‑green, canary, image builds) to enhance build quality and velocity.
- Integrate AI‑assisted tooling (e.g., Cursor, agentic workflows) into reliability operations.
- Participate in 24/7 on‑call rotation; lead incident response, post‑mortem analysis, and stress‑testing (chaos engineering).
- Partner with security teams to enforce robust production security postures.
- Guide architectural decisions, code quality, and testing strategies for distributed systems.
- Engage with smart contracts and stateful services; maintain SQL database schemas.
**Required Skills**
- 4+ years’ SRE/DevOps/infrastructure experience, preferably in cloud‑native or blockchain settings.
- Proven operation/debugging of blockchain nodes and distributed systems.
- Advanced Kubernetes administration (Helm, operators, RBAC, observability).
- CI/CD pipeline design, container build, deployment strategies (blue‑green, canary).
- Programming/scripting: Go, Python, Shell.
- Public cloud proficiency (AWS, GCP).
- SQL database design, stateful service management.
- Experience with AI‑assisted development tools or agentic workflows (beneficial).
- Strong analytical, ownership, and communication skills.
- Genuine passion for crypto and blockchain infrastructure.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications (optional but advantageous): AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
