**Job Title**
SAP Basis Administrator
**Role Summary**
Senior SAP Basis Administrator responsible for high‑impact client projects (80%) focused on performance, security, and modernization, and for internal strategic projects (20%) aimed at platform optimization, automation, and technology watch. Operates across SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP Cloud Platform environments.
**Expectations**
- Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis administration experience.
- Proven expertise in SAP BW, HANA, ECC, with strong familiarity with S/4HANA.
- Deep understanding of security, performance tuning, and cloud integration.
- Comfortable in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong communicator with the ability to present and sell technical solutions.
- Self‑starter, curious, collaborative, and committed to continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Configure and maintain SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector, and BAS for BAP.
- Implement SAP SLT security action plans and update SAP BI 4.3 (greenfield).
- Author Architecture Decision Records (ARD) for BW, HANA Full Use, and SLT.
- Deploy monitoring/alerting via HANA Cockpit, Dynatrace, and Solution Manager.
- Design data flows, BW views, and HANA calculation views; build BW queries and SAC dashboards.
- Architect and implement SSO solutions (SAPGUI, BI 4.2, etc.).
- Assess ELT/ETL alternatives (SLT, SDI, BODS).
- Contribute to SAP CI/CD pipelines for HANA Full Use deployments.
- Administer internal SAP Basis systems (monitoring, tuning, transport mgmt, updates, security).
- Automate and standardize SAP procedures.
- Define internal technical architectures for on‑premise and cloud environments.
- Conduct technology watch on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform.
**Required Skills**
- SAP Basis administration (SAP BW, HANA, ECC, S/4HANA).
- SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector, SAP BAS.
- SAP SLT, SAP SDI, SAP BODS, SAP BI 4.3.
- HANA Cockpit, Dynatrace, SAP Solution Manager, JIRA.
- Monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning.
- Security configuration (SAP SLT, SSO).
- Data flow design (BW, HANA).
- CI/CD for SAP deployments (Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.).
- Agile & Waterfall project management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- SAP Basis certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Basis).
- Additional SAP certifications in BW, HANA, or S/4HANA are preferred.
