**Job Title** Cybersecurity Engineer (F/M) **Role Summary** Enhance the effectiveness of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) operations by refining analysis, designing detection rules, developing incident playbooks, automating repetitive tasks, and coordinating with support and sales teams to strengthen overall security posture. **Expectations** - Deliver precise MDR reports with clear recommendations and minimized false positives. - Reduce mean time to response (MTTR) through optimized playbooks and automated processes. - Provide proactive threat intelligence and maintain current knowledge of emerging risks. - Support continuous improvement of security processes and tools. **Key Responsibilities** - Strengthen MDR analyses, integrating actionable recommendations. - Create and implement detection rules tailored to client environments and emerging threats; document with use‑case scenarios. - Update or develop incident playbooks, test and validate them through regular simulations. - Proactively identify and analyze emerging threats; enrich indicators and threat‑intel reports. - Automate repetitive detection and response tasks using scripts or tools. - Coordinate with support, pre‑sales, and security teams, sharing critical information to enhance security posture. - Lead internal training sessions on new threats and best practices. - Respond promptly to detections, incidents, and viral alerts across provided solutions. - Manage visibility of scheduled tasks, meetings, and absences via Outlook. - Conduct on‑call duties during nights and weekends in partnership with the security team. **Required Skills** - Experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in MDR, threat hunting, or incident response. - Knowledge of security techniques, attack‑defense processes, and related tools. - Ability to develop and document detection rules and playbooks. - Familiarity with automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Python). - Strong analytical and communication skills; aptitude for teaching concepts to clients. - Working knowledge of English (preferred). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GCHC, CEH, or equivalent (preferred).
