Job Description: **Job Title:** System Engineer **Role Summary:** Maintains and evolves IT infrastructure systems to ensure operational continuity and supports strategic projects including virtualization, security, and infrastructure modernization. **Expectations:** 5–7 years of experience in system and network administration, proficiency in VMware/Virtualization, SIEM tools, and security compliance; strong collaboration and documentation skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer Microsoft systems (EntraID, O365, Exchange, Active Directory) and enforce security policies (MFA, ISO 27001). - Manage virtualization stacks (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, Proxmox) and backup solutions (Veeam, Zerto). - Oversee network/telephony operations (Meraki, Aruba, Zoom) and implement VPN solutions. - Monitor SIEM infrastructure for anomaly detection and incident response; create dashboards and alerts. - Drive infrastructure modernization, automation (Ansible, Terraform), and migration projects. - Update internal documentation (Wiki) and contribute to ServiceNow workflows. **Required Skills:** - Advanced VMware, Veeam, Meraki, and Zoom expertise. - Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk preferred), scripting (Ansible, Terraform). - Strong understanding of network security, compliance frameworks, and access policies. - Team collaboration and clear technical documentation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Minimum 5–7 years in system/network administration. - Microsoft, VMware, or Splunk certifications preferred.
