Job Description
**Job Title:** Instructional Designer **Role Summary:** Design and deliver digital learning solutions for staff and volunteers that enhance clinical practice, leadership, and professional development. Ensure content is engaging, inclusive, and accessible while leveraging data to continuously improve learning outcomes. **Expectations:** - Produce high‑quality eLearning, microlearning, videos, animations, and performance support tools. - Apply evidence‑based, performance‑based design principles. - Demonstrate strong analytical skills to measure impact and iterate on content. - Champion accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Conduct needs analysis with stakeholders and subject‑matter experts. - Design, develop, and publish courses using Articulate 360/Storyline, Adapt, Canva, Vyond, and other digital tools. - QA and maintain content accuracy, inclusivity, and accessibility. - Use the learning management system to upload, track, and promote learning. - Analyze learning data, evaluate effectiveness, and report insights. - Collaborate across teams to embed learning into all organizational functions. **Required Skills:** - End‑to‑end instructional design experience (needs analysis to evaluation). - Proficiency with Articulate 360/Storyline, Adapt, Canva, Vyond (or similar). - Knowledge of digital learning best practices, performance‑based design, and WCAG accessibility. - Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with strong attention to detail. - Excellent written and verbal communication; stakeholder engagement. - Proactive, collaborative mindset focused on continuous improvement and inclusive practice. **Required Education & Certifications:** - L&D qualification (e.g., CIPD) or equivalent instructional design experience. - Relevant certifications in eLearning or instructional design are desirable.
