**Job Title:** Business Development Representative **Role Summary:** Identify, prospect, and qualify new enterprise and mid‑market opportunities to drive sales pipeline growth for a SaaS smart data capture platform. Use outbound and inbound tactics to engage senior decision makers, assess fit, and hand off qualified prospects to Account Executives. **Expectations:** - Deliver a consistent pipeline of high‑quality leads that meet defined enterprise criteria. - Demonstrate proactive, results‑oriented approach across competing responsibilities. - Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date CRM data and meeting notes. - Collaborate with sales and field marketing teams to refine outreach and conversion strategies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute targeted outreach via phone, email, social media, and other channels to generate pre‑sale opportunities. - Qualify inbound leads against account and fit criteria to increase conversion rates. - Conduct qualification calls with senior prospects to assess commercial, technical, and product fit. - Research and analyze target accounts (industry trends, executive changes, challenges) to inform outreach. - Engage senior executives about business needs and orchestrate discussions to develop sales strategies. - Schedule meetings and demos for Account Executives. - Update and maintain lead, account, contact, and opportunity records in CRM systems. - Document detailed notes on all sales‑related interactions. - Work closely with Account Executives and field marketers by region/vertical. - Collaborate with sales management to improve process, tools, and metrics. **Required Skills:** - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Strong rapport‑building and interpersonal skills. - Proactive, self‑motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities. - Analytical mindset to research accounts and identify pain points. - Comfortable with technology/software sales. - Results‑oriented, detail‑focused, and judgment‑able. - Ability to think on feet and adapt quickly. - Cross‑functional collaboration and willingness to exceed role boundaries. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred), or equivalent professional experience. - No specific certifications required.
