Job Description
**Job Title** Information Controller **Role Summary** Coordinate and enforce information management, quality assurance, and security practices for a complex infrastructure project. Oversee document control, data integrity, and compliance with ISO 19650 and UK confidentiality requirements across the project lifecycle. **Expectations** * Security‑mindful handling of OFFICIAL and OFFICIAL‑SENSITIVE data. * Effective, multidisciplinary communication with designers, client teams, subcontractors, and supply‑chain partners. * Proven ability to manage large volumes of data, multitask, and meet deadlines. * Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and experience applying it through planning to archiving. **Key Responsibilities** * Execute QA checks on all submissions to the Project Information Model CDE (Viewpoint for Projects). * Coordinate document‑management activities per the Document Management Plan. * Generate and circulate status reports on overdue or action‑required items. * Issue and track information transmittals according to project distribution protocols. * Update Task Information Delivery Plans and assist the Senior Information Manager with data collation. * Apply classification and sensitivity controls, ensuring secure processing of all information. * Provide guidance on document requirements and support end‑users of Viewpoint for Projects (troubleshooting & training). * Serve as primary contact for document‑control support and coaching, including collaboration with client, designer, and subcontractor teams. * Safeguard physical documents and drawings in project site offices, ensuring traceability and protection from damage. * Manage document storage in internal SharePoint, ensuring searchable metadata and tags. * Assist with archiving activities in line with the Data Retention and Archiving strategy. * Maintain proactive communication with the client’s document‑control team, resolving issues promptly. **Required Skills** * Proficient use of Viewpoint for Projects or equivalent Electronic Document Management System (e.g., Asite). * Experience with OFFICIAL/ OFFICIAL‑SENSITIVE information handling and security classifications. * Strong knowledge of ISO 19650, applicable within project life‑cycle phases. * Excellent written and verbal communication across multidisciplinary stakeholders. * Ability to manage multiple concurrent information‑management tasks efficiently. * Familiarity with SharePoint document storage and metadata tagging. **Required Education & Certifications** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field. * Certifications in ISO 19650 (e.g., ISO 19650‑1, ISO 19650‑2) or ISO 9001 are preferred. * Right to work in the United Kingdom. ---
