Job Description
**Job Title** Senior Principal Security Software Engineer – C & Cryptographic Systems **Role Summary** Lead the design, implementation and validation of security‑centric software for enterprise server and storage solutions. Own cryptography services and key management systems, drive the integration of Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC) models, and collaborate with global engineering teams to deliver robust, FIPS‑compliant products. **Expactations** - Architect and refactor cryptographic modules using modern C code. - Ensure alignment with FIPS, CNSA Suite 2.0, CNSS Policy 15, TLS and DARE standards. - Design testing strategies, documentation, and support product release cycles. **Key Responsibilities** - Design and develop encryption/decryption APIs and key‑management services. - Integrate PQC algorithms and evaluate their performance/security impact. - Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering peers. - Produce design documents, functional specifications, and user documentation. - Define test plans, create automated tests, and verify compliance with security standards. - Partner with storage solution teams to embed security features into products. **Required Skills** - 12+ years of C programming experience, focusing on low‑level systems and protocols. - Deep expertise in cryptographic software design and implementation. - Strong understanding of FIPS, PQC, CNSA Suite 2.0, CNSS Policy 15, TLS, and DARE. - Experience with key‑management and data‑at‑rest encryption concepts. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Certifications in cryptography or security (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Encryption Specialist) preferred.
