Job title: Analyst – Investor Relations (Macro Hedge Fund)
Role Summary:
Support senior management in developing, executing, and refining the firm's investor relations program to attract and retain institutional investors and enhance market perception of the fund's investment philosophy and performance.
Expectations:
- Deliver a cohesive IR strategy that communicates investment principles, performance metrics, and market insights.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with existing investors and identify new institutional opportunities.
- Act as the primary spokesperson at external events, ensuring consistent messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, implement, and track comprehensive IR initiatives aligned with the firm’s objectives.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with current and prospective investors through outreach, presentations, and ongoing communication.
- Prepare and deliver high‑quality performance reports, market updates, and strategic insights for investor meetings and publications.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications to produce pitch books, presentations, and other IR collateral.
- Plan and coordinate investor meetings, roadshows, and conferences, ensuring execution excellence.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor IR tactics, and regulatory developments to inform strategy.
- Represent the firm at industry events, forums, and conferences, serving as a trusted contact for stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- Strong commercial awareness of multi‑strategy hedge fund operations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to relate complex investment concepts to institutional audiences.
- Advanced analytical capabilities: financial modeling, data synthesis, and performance analysis.
- Proven success in nurturing investor relationships and expanding investor base.
- Self‑directed, result‑focused, and capable of managing multiple high‑priority tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
- MBA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in investor relations, fund‑raising, or within the hedge fund/asset‑management industry.
