Job Title: VP, Investment & Advisory
Role Summary:
Senior investment leader responsible for strategy, analysis, sourcing, underwriting, and execution of deals across technology, media, healthcare, industrials, and payments sectors. Directs due diligence, financial modeling, and portfolio integration while building proprietary deal flow and representing the firm to internal and external stakeholders.
Expectations:
- Own full investment lifecycle from ideation to exit.
- Deliver actionable, data‑driven investment thesis aligned with portfolio strategy.
- Lead and mentor a small, independent team with high autonomy.
- Represent the firm in negotiations, term sheets, and investment committee presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define sector‑specific evaluation frameworks; lead valuation (DCF, LBO, comparables) and scenario analysis.
- Develop comprehensive market theses through industry research, competitive assessment, and sizing.
- Manage end‑to‑end due diligence, coordinating legal, accounting, commercial, and operational advisors.
- Originate and cultivate relationships with management teams, bankers, and industry operators to secure proprietary deal flow.
- Structure and negotiate transaction terms, optimize capital structure, and coordinate execution.
- Prepare and present Investment Committee materials, clearly articulating rationale, risks, and value‑creation plans.
Required Skills:
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis expertise.
- Deep industry research capabilities and market sizing acumen.
- Proven due diligence leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Negotiation and transaction structuring proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex ideas clearly.
- Results‑oriented, proactive, and creative problem‑solving.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 6–9 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or Private Equity.
- Additional languages beneficial but not mandatory.
