Job Description
**Job title** Data Operations Manager – Global Investment Operations **Role Summary** Lead data operations for a global investment firm’s harmonisation programme. Manage day‑to‑day data quality, master data maintenance, and controls across trading and market data feeds to support integrated Omni‑Trade Management System (TOMS) and OMS platforms. Act as key liaison between investment, risk, operations, and IT to ensure accurate, timely data for investment decision‑making. **Expecations** - Deliver high‑standard data governance and quality for securities, accounts, share classes, and counterparties. - Drive continuous improvement of data processes, controls, and exception handling. - Support the migration and consolidation of data to a new global data architecture. - Collaborate with business intelligence, reporting, risk, and product teams to align data strategies. **Key Responsibilities** - Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in Investments, Risk, Operations, IT, and Business Development. - Map data flows and quality processes for business intelligence and reporting services. - Operate robust data controls on incoming market feeds; ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness. - Maintain master data sets and develop data dictionaries, process diagrams, and documentation. - Conduct root‑cause analysis of data exceptions; implement corrective actions and preventive controls. - Oversee daily/ monthly data operations, rota management, and training of team members. - Evaluate and recommend process improvements to enhance data quality globally. - Support system changes, data strategy development, and governance initiatives. **Required Skills** - Strong expertise in investment data management (equity, fixed‑income, multi‑asset). - Proficiency with OMS/TOMS platform integration and data migration projects. - Knowledge of data governance frameworks, master data management, and exception handling. - Analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and process improvement. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management. - Ability to produce and maintain data documentation (data dictionaries, diagrams). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related field. - Certifications in data management or related disciplines (e.g., CDMP, Data Governance, or equivalent) preferred but not mandatory. ---
