**Job title**: Fire & Security Service Manager **Role Summary**: Lead and manage a team of engineers delivering planned and reactive maintenance for fire alarm, CCTV, intruder, access control and related life‑safety systems. Ensure high quality, on‑time, and safe service delivery, achieve KPI targets, maintain client satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement across all service operations. **Expectations**: - 5+ years in fire and/or security engineering, with strong technical knowledge of life‑safety systems. - Demonstrated supervisory or managerial experience in the fire/security industry. - Proven track record of meeting service level agreements and driving operational excellence. **Key Responsibilities**: - Recruit, coach, and develop a high‑performing service engineering team. - Oversee day‑to‑day operations: scheduling, workload planning, and resource allocation. - Serve as primary client contact, ensuring clear communication and exceptional service. - Monitor KPIs, service levels, and compliance with industry standards. - Resolve technical queries, manage escalations, and provide expert support. - Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience. - Ensure engineers maintain current training, certifications, and safety standards. - Collaborate with senior leadership on service strategy and growth plans. **Required Skills**: - Strong leadership and team‑development abilities. - Excellent communication, client‑service, and stakeholder‑management skills. - Analytical mindset with ability to translate KPI data into actionable improvements. - Proactive, solutions‑focused approach in fast‑moving environments. - Solid understanding of fire protection and security system technologies. **Required Education & Certifications**: - Relevant engineering/diploma in fire protection, security, or related field. - Current professional certifications (e.g., NACE, Certified Fire Professional, or equivalent) preferred. - Continuous professional development evidence in life‑safety systems.
