**Job Title:** Azure Project Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Lead and deliver end-to-end Azure migration, Microsoft 365 transformation, and landing‑zone projects. Collaborate with architects and customers to design, secure, and optimize scalable cloud solutions, ensuring governance, compliance, and performance best practices.
**Expectations:**
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and evolving customer priorities.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders, presenting findings and recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement of migration processes and governance frameworks.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Plan and execute Azure migration and transformation initiatives.
- Deliver Microsoft 365 transformation projects.
- Design and implement Azure VMs, Storage Accounts, and VNet/subnetting/peering configurations.
- Deploy and configure security and governance services: Azure Firewall, Bastion, App Gateway, Front Door, and Load Balancer.
- Advise on Azure Policy, Azure Advisor, and Entra ID (Conditional Access, PIM, MFA).
- Support SQL MI / Azure SQL SB / SQL Server on Azure VM deployments.
- Assist with landing‑zone deployments and architectural framework applications.
- Create and deliver presentations to stakeholders and clients.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects, customers, and competing priorities.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficiency in Azure VMs, Storage Accounts, and Networking.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft 365 services.
- Deep knowledge of Azure security tools (Firewall, Bastion, App Gateway, Load Balancer, etc.).
- Practical use of Azure Policy, Azure Advisor, and Entra ID.
- Cloud migration experience (data‑centre exit, on‑prem to Azure).
- Strong requirements gathering and documentation.
- Effective public speaking and technical evangelism.
- Familiarity with App Services, SQL MI/Azure SQL SB, and landing‑zone deployments.
- Experience with VMware vSphere (beneficial).
- Understanding of Well‑Architected Framework and Cloud Adoption Framework.
- Ability to use IaC tools: ADO, Bicep, Terraform, PowerShell.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Azure Administrator Associate – AZ‑104 (mandatory).
- Azure Solutions Architect Associate – AZ‑305 (beneficial).
- Azure DevOps Engineer Associate – AZ‑400, Azure Security Engineer Associate – AZ‑500, Azure Networking Engineer Associate – AZ‑700 (beneficial).
