**Job Title:** IT Solutions Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, and operationalize scalable, ITIL‑aligned workflows and integrations that automate core IT processes across ITSM, IAM, SaaS, and enterprise orchestration platforms. Partner with IT Support and Security to reduce manual toil, improve system reliability, and enable secure, predictable operations.
**Expectations:**
- Translate ambiguous requirements into structured, repeatable workflows.
- Deliver end‑to‑end solutions from architecture through rollout and documentation.
- Provide on‑call support, handle technical escalations, and create training/playbooks for support teams.
- Maintain system health, monitoring, and logging for all administered platforms.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and implement integrations across identity, SaaS, ITSM, and internal applications using APIs, Terraform, scripting, and low‑code tools.
- Build automated request flows in Slack, ChatGPT, Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence), Linear, Incident.io, Retool, etc.
- Maintain and continuously improve Incident, Request, Change, and Problem management workflows in modern ITSM tools.
- Lead identity, access, and ITSM migration projects, especially during acquisitions.
- Administer lifecycle and collaboration platforms (Slack Grid, Google Workspace, Atlassian suite, GitHub).
- Produce runbooks, documentation, and repeatable workflow templates for cross‑team use.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong experience with workflow automation, orchestration, and ITIL processes.
- Proficiency in APIs, Terraform, scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and low‑code platforms.
- Hands‑on knowledge of IAM/identity platforms, SaaS integrations, and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
- Familiarity with collaboration tools (Slack, Google Workspace, Atlassian) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem‑solving, stakeholder communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to operate in on‑call rotation and handle escalations.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- ITIL Foundation certification (preferred).
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, security, or automation (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Terraform Associate) are a plus.
