Job Description
Job title: Full Stack Developer Role Summary: Design, build, and maintain high‑performance user interfaces using React/Next.js for post‑quantum cryptography products, collaborating closely with product, backend, and UX teams to deliver intuitive, secure, and scalable web applications. Expectations: Deliver features rapidly following the principles of “Done over perfect”, applying KISS, DRY, and SOLID. Participate in code reviews, continuous integration, and documentation practices while continuously improving frontend architecture and performance. Own data modeling, ingestion pipelines, API contracts, and platform observability to ensure high‑quality, scalable, and secure data flows. Expectations * 15+ years of data or software engineering experience in distributed, complex environments. * Master’s degree from a recognised European engineering school (or equivalent). * Fluency in English. * Deep expertise in relational data modeling, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Elasticsearch. Key Responsibilities * Design, document, and maintain end‑to‑end data models (entities, relationships, vocabularies). * Translate product requirements into database schemas, indexing strategies, and data lifecycle plans. * Build, validate, and manage Kafka ingestion pipelines and define canonical formats across Kafka, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch. * Collaborate with backend teams to create API‑level data contracts aligned with the data model. * Optimize queries, indexes, and persistence for real‑time analytics. * Define structured logs, metadata standards, and ingestion patterns to support platform‑wide observability. * Promote data quality, versioning, retention, and schema evolution best practices. * Serve as the authority on data architecture within the COMPASS squad.
