Job Description
**Job Title:** Channel Manager – Pharmacies (Wound Care) – Permanent **Role Summary:** Lead commercial growth of Molnlycke’s wound‑care product portfolio within the pharmacy channel (retail pharmacies, pharmacy groups, wholesalers). Develop and execute three‑year commercial and marketing plans, drive sales, profitability and market share, and act as the primary liaison between the French market and global marketing. **Expectations:** - Achieve sales and profit targets for assigned product groups. - Deliver strategic marketing initiatives that sustain Molnlycke’s brand leadership. - Provide accurate forecasting, performance dashboards, and timely corrective actions. - Ensure all communications and product claims comply with regulatory standards. - Foster strong collaboration with sales, global marketing, training, and regulatory teams. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Market Intelligence:** Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and opportunity gaps; translate insights into actionable plans. 2. **Commercial Strategy:** Design and implement 3‑year business and marketing strategies aligned with budget and profit goals. 3. **Channel Planning:** Create short‑ and long‑term business plans for pharmacy channels to meet sales, margin, and share objectives. 4. **Sales Enablement:** Produce printed, digital, and training materials; equip the sales force with key messages and solutions. 5. **360° Campaigns:** Plan and launch multi‑channel campaigns focused on clinical needs and patient care pathways. 6. **Performance Management:** Track sales, margin, and share against targets; develop dashboards; adjust tactics as needed. 7. **Product Portfolio Management:** Optimize product assortments per international guidelines to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability. 8. **New Product Launches:** Coordinate launch activities, user evaluations, and messaging to meet sales and market‑share goals. 9. **Training & Development:** Partner with Sales Training Manager to onboard new hires and continuously up‑skill the sales team on clinical value propositions. 10. **Regulatory Compliance:** Ensure all product communications meet internal policies and external regulatory requirements. 11. **Global Collaboration:** Work with Headquarters Marketing on assortment and promotional offers; provide market feedback and participate in global projects. **Required Skills:** - Strong analytical and market‑research abilities. - Proven commercial strategy and execution experience in pharma/medical‑device or wound‑care sectors. - Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluency in French and English. - Ability to develop sales tools, training programs, and multi‑channel campaigns. - Proficiency with sales forecasting, KPI dashboards, and data‑driven decision‑making. - Collaborative mindset with experience influencing cross‑functional teams. - Strong organizational and project‑management skills; willingness to travel as needed. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field (minimum). - Preferable: MBA or Master’s in Marketing/Healthcare Management. - Minimum 5 years of experience in channel management, key‑account or product management within the pharmaceutical, medical‑device, or wound‑care industry. - Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., EU medical device regulations).
