Business Developer (Apprenticeship)
**Role Summary**
Support the commercial team within a consulting firm to generate new B2B leads and qualify prospects for large enterprises and mid‑market companies. Work under a senior Business Manager, applying structured prospecting methods, developing complex sales strategies, and contributing to the creation of tailored proposals that align with client transformation needs.
**Expectations**
- 1 week of academic study and 3 weeks of on‑site work per replacement cycle.
- Begin contract in September 2026.
- Rapid exposure to senior decision‑makers (CFO, HR, IT, procurement, executive boards).
- Weekly coaching on sales objections, pitch delivery, and meeting analysis.
- Clear, performance‑based targets: contact rates, response rates, conversion of meetings to opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prospect new accounts (large corporates, SBF‑120, mid‑market) via outbound channels: cold calls, warm calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, industry events, and internal referrals.
- Build and map account structures: identify key stakeholders, decision‑making bodies, and relevant personas.
- Design account strategies: tailor messaging per persona, define entry routes, and coordinate cross‑functional execution.
- Collaborate with consulting teams to address complex sales contexts, qualifying transformation needs, and organizational dynamics.
- Contribute to the drafting of commercial proposals in partnership with consultants and external partners.
- Attend client meetings, deliver presentations, and support proposal acceptance processes.
- Maintain and update opportunities within HubSpot CRM: accurate data capture, opportunity tracking, and performance reporting.
- Monitor and analyze KPI dashboards (contact rates, response rates, conversion of meetings to opportunities).
**Required Skills**
- Strong B2B sales orientation, particularly in complex, consulting‑style environments.
- Structured, analytical thinker with meticulous attention to details.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities; comfortable engaging senior executives.
- Proficient with digital tools and CRM systems (HubSpot recommended).
- Data‑driven mindset; ability to interpret and act on KPI insights.
- High motivation for client acquisition and deep organizational insight.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Current enrolment in a 4–5 year university or business academy (Bac + 4 to Bac + 5).
- Focus in business administration, management, finance, or related discipline.
- No specific certifications required, though prior experience in sales or account management is an asset.
